About me

My name is Chantal and I am the owner of Vita Naturel.  I am a wife, mother of 3 wonderful kids and a nurse. My journey to rediscovering my roots started 14 years ago after suffering with stomach pains for most of my life.  In 2006, I was diagnosed with gastroparesis which prevents or slows down the emptying of your stomach which in turn causes excruciating pain and sometimes vomiting.  After years of seeing a fabulous gastroenterologist, and trying many of his prescriptions, I decided to try something new.  I told him that I no longer wanted to try any pharmaceuticals drugs and he advised me to try the Elmo diet (eat less more often) which worked temporarily.

Seven years ago, my life completely changed when I started my plant based lifestyle. I was going through my day without stomach pains and vomiting. In my research to better improve my health, I discovered some amazing super foods and herbs such as sea moss, elderberries, nettle, red raspberry and more. These foods have not only improved my health but my family’s health.  I believe good health is a combination of 3 things: nutrition, exercise and consistency.

Our Mission:

In June 2020, I decided to start Vita Naturel, (a small family operated business out of Florida) to share my knowledge, experience and appreciation for herbs with others. Vita naturel which stands for natural life was created to help each individual rediscover themselves, their connections to the earth and their roots by using plant-based medicine.

Fun Facts

  • I am originally from Haiti and came to the US when I was 15 years old.

  • I have a B.S in Biology and worked as a scientist for 10 years. I am currently working as an ICU nurse. I LOVE research.

  • I am a huge soccer, basketball and football fan. I also love Hallmark movies.
